You can know the modalities but still need help finding your own clinical judgment in sessions

Gestalt-informed supervision for Qualifying RPs and Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario working through client relationships, countertransference, ethical questions, and the choices that shape how they practise

How does supervision help your clinical judgment become more your own?

You already have the theoretical knowledge when you step into the therapy room. What supervision helps with is the part that happens in practice: how you read the client relationship, what you notice in yourself, and the decisions you keep turning over after sessions.

Over time, supervision helps you shape your own clinical voice to be something you can truly rely on. Not because you’ve memorized a method or someone else’s response, but because you know how to pay attention to what’s happening with your clients and yourself.

I’m Katie

A REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST WITH A GESTALT-INFORMED APPROACH TO SUPERVISION

As a Gestalt therapist, I strongly believe that you’re a part of the clinical work, even when the client is the focus.

That lens shapes how I offer supervision, which means when you bring client work to our sessions, we won’t only look at what the client said or what intervention might come next. We’ll also look at what you noticed, what you felt pulled to do, the role you found yourself in, and how your internal responses may be shaping the work.
